Welcome to Toronto
Welcome to Toronto is a project created by Nicole Baillargeon, Andrea Pearce, Rafi Ghanaghounian that brought together 30 artists and illustrators with the intent of creating a book to welcome Syrian refugees to Toronto.
“We wanted to share our love of the city in a fun yet educational way. What’s more fun then colouring?,” said Ghanaghounian about the project. He continues, “We wanted to share our pleasures. The things that maybe we take for granted. These families have had a hard journey getting here and many more months of settling. So this book will take some of the edge off.”
