7 pm – 7 am, Saturday, October 5, 2019
Our province and City of Toronto are under siege from major political forces that strive to eviscerate hard-won, democratic community standards while global societies are trending towards the decimation of human values.
Current political forces are NOT “For The People” and are completely out of touch with crucial issues that are facing our province, country and planet. A vital mode of expression for artists to voice their concerns is through their artwork. Political forms of expression must now include public venues beyond the gallery and studio walls.
Information about the artists’ images and actions can be found on the www.artistsprotestprojects.com website. Participating artists range from well established to emerging artists. Future participants are welcome to submit up to three images/gifs/short videos for consideration to Kelly at ktmktm37@gmail.com.
The APP Collective was initiated by Kelly McCray and Ian MacLeod.
Our core
mission is to embrace and support the work of national and international
contemporary creators working in the field of art + design.
