Home Away Home

Home Away Home, a multi-disciplinary visual and media arts exhibition & festival celebrating diversity, immigrant stories and vernacular architecture of the city, converged in Toronto’s historic Kensington neighborhood from September 6th – 10th 2018.

The event features artists using both exterior and interior installations in historic Victorian and eclectic architecture. The festival will use laneways, streets, parks, public space and alternative exhibition spaces, in addition to galleries to activate the neighborhood in new exciting ways for the public. The festival will also curate a series of programming to accompany the exhibition and artist installations that will galvanize the public. Programming will include historic tours, workshops, talks, family activities and musical performances.
